All 10 RCYC suites pair within 25% on size, and Silversea is cheaper on every single one. Ritz-Carlton sits at $2,979/guest/night vs Silversea at $1,131 — $1,847 cheaper at the median matched suite. Silversea’s entire published ladder ($617–$1,691) tops out below RCYC’s second-cheapest suite — and Silversea’s fare is all-inclusive while RCYC’s is cruise-only.

Each RCYC suite is paired with Silversea’s nearest by size, within 25%. Δ = Silversea − RCYC $/guest/night (green = Silversea is cheaper). Per guest, double occupancy. Silversea figures are the effective fare — its live 20–40% promotion, which every bookable category carries; RCYC publishes no promotion on this voyage. Suites with a size range are represented by the low end. Silversea’s waitlisted Owner’s Suite publishes no fare and is excluded from pairing. The two fares do not include the same things — see the basis note below.
Every published suite on two competing summer 2027 Alaska sailings — both seven nights, both ending in Vancouver. Fares, suite and outdoor-space dimensions, and cost per night on a common basis.
Ritz-Carlton is cruise-only — per person, cruise only, double occupancy, at full published price with no promotion. Silversea is all-inclusive at a 20–40% limited-time discount expiring 8 September 2026, and the fare already covers premium beverages, onboard gratuities, Wi-Fi, butler service and port taxes & fees. Every dollar of those inclusions is extra on the RCYC side, so the gap below is the narrowest honest reading of the difference, not the widest.
The two ladders barely touch. Six of Silversea’s eight bookable categories price below anything RCYC sells, and only the Royal and Grand Suites reach into RCYC’s entry rungs.
Ten suite categories, all open for sale — one more than Ilma carries, the extra being the Residential Suite. Categories ending “Mid” are priced $400–$800 per guest above their identically sized non-Mid twin; the site does not say what “Mid” refers to.

RCYC calls it a terrace, Silversea a veranda, and the difference is not just vocabulary. Silversea holds a flat 9–24% of interior area across its whole ship — and its entry Vista Suite has no outdoor space at all, only a picture window. RCYC starts at a comparable 14–18% but escalates hard at the top, where the Luminara, Concierge and Owner’s suites carry 42–135%.

Unlike the Mediterranean pairing against Four Seasons, there is no rung where RCYC wins on price. The closest is the Signature Suite, still $769/guest/night dearer than its size-matched Medallion.
Higher than six of Silversea’s eight bookable categories — including the 653 ft² Silver Suite, which is more than twice the size of an RCYC Terrace Suite and still costs $191 less per night.
Silversea holds $22–$31 across every category. RCYC runs $59–$127 and climbs with tier. On space alone RCYC is three to four times the rate.
Every bookable Silversea category is discounted; RCYC publishes no promotion. At list price Silversea would still be cheaper on all ten pairs, but the median gap narrows from $1,847 to roughly $1,570.
